here is a sweet little stool i made it is all pink and lacy with antique transferware and a sweet bow................too bad i clicked the picture upside down.........lol

My violin and bird bath were accepted into the 2008 mosaic yearbook.......Yeah!! That is what we call it but it is something else like modern mosaics or something i froggot i gave mine to my mommy....... lol but it can be purchased at mosaic rocks dot com it is on two discs. featuring 2008 mosaic artists around the world......I love Martin Cheeks fox ..........awesome work!!

i finally finished this it is loaded with pastels and birds and florals .....beginning to see a pattern here huh.....lol

here is another one ive been working on in soft pastels ........its called "at the disco" these birds just look like they are bopping to me....... lol

why i haven't posted for quite some time it is almost christmas and we have a foot of snow!!
i tiled a nutcracker a month ago and still have not grouted it .....it may be done by next year........maybe.....lol

i am almost done with my monthly challenge for my group
the object was to do a rounded surface ie teapot etc......

well i picked a decanter........here it is before.......

last month it was a gardenstone challenge and i made a fishy ........i just donated it to auction for the koman for a cure p.e.p. auctions on ebay.......

Wow the summer has come and gone like a breeze.....
I finally found my blog again ......I think i lost it in
cyber space....... yikes.......

We have started a new challenge in my ebay group
Master Mosaic Artsists.

the challenge is to make a rounded object like a teapot
or something ......

I decided on a decanter and will post some pics
in a few days when i am finished.

I love useing up my cups!!

I also made my first mosaic sale on
etsy!!

I thought it would never happen.....
It took some time but it did!!
I hope my basket travels safely to
Australia it is such a long ride.
Summer is just beginnning there
and i wish i fit in the basket.......

We got a new horse and i just love her!!
Her name is Dreamboat Annie.........
although i think my bil wants to call her
Anheuser......lol

she is the most beautiful clydesdale......
but she did not get really tall she remids me
of a gypsy vanner horse with her feathery
feet.........

She just came back from her Amish training ......

I can't wait to see her again!!

memorial day

This weekend is memorial day... hmmm......what will we do?
I haven't made plans yet.
I'm still recovering from the past
weekend. I was pretty busy.
My little neice had her 8th grade graduation
party. Ohhh what fun the kids had. The girls
all had a sleep over and the boys are old enough
to drive now. We put all the girls in the boys car as
many as we could fit and teased them they never had
so many girls in their car.
They said they roll in the car...... get that one..... we'll
roll in this one and you roll in that one mom.....
hmmm.....
My mom and i also went to two flea markets it was
such fun looking at all the wears i did find some pretty
depression glass for my mosaics and a couple
adorable little birdies.
Im sure they will be on future pieces.
I sat in dads workshop till the wee morning hours
working on a few things...... I thought they were sooo
pretty well we shall soon see!!

Well it looks like spring has sprung the buds are on the trees and my bleeding heart has gone wild. I have never seen it bloomed so much it really took off this year!
Soon it will be hidden behind my buttercups.

I have been busy mosaicing and sewing i just sold one of my tables.
If you are in my group you already know.

right now i am working on a cake topper thingy and a cake stand
i will post the pictures when i have it grouted.
